Greybeard and Magoo captured in Art by Krazedone. Thank you Krazedone for coming into our lives and doing this for US!
My pride and my joy are my children. Sean and Ryan still live in Canada. I love them dearly, and miss them every day.
My Sister Brenda, isn't she cute!
Feeling stresed,
There are some awesom bubbles that just sorta relax you. It's cool!
you are paleturquoise #AFEEEE
Your dominant hues are green and blue. You're smart and you know it, and want to use your power to help people and relate to others. Even though you tend to battle with yourself, you solve other people's conflicts well.
Your saturation level is low - You stay out of stressful situations and advise others to do the same. You may not be the go-to person when something really needs done, but you know never to blow things out of proportion.
Your outlook on life is bright. You see good things in situations where others may not be able to, and it frustrates you to see them get down on everything.
Evening ya'll. I tell you what! hahahaha thats for my nephews. Today was not a bad day at work, but the day ended with us getting our taxes done and owing $875  Pisses me off to no end. The harder we work, the more we have to pay. What is wrong with that picture, while the rich keep getting richer. Some day it will change, but doubt I will live to see it. My ear has been popping all day, and that is not comfy. We ate out as I did not feel like cooking even though hubby was off today playing. I am tired, grumpy, and very moody, does that cover all the baisis? I don't feel creative either, well I do, but don't have the time to get what I want to do. April 3rd, is the anniversary of Moms passing. Please keep my sister Blou in mind as she is up in Canada dealing with all the lawyers and the closing of the sale of Mom's house. Brenda is a very special person and boy I am lucky to have her as a sister.....NO Sis, you're not adopted!!! hahaha...(I used to tell her she was adopted and when she was in kindergarden, she was crying cause she couldn't bring in her birth cert. to class cause she was adopted...Mom bout killed me!! and so did she when she got old enough to understand ) Enough for me now...I need to get jammies on and relax.
Our Pensacola Ice Pilots played on home ice against Texas this evening, winning 5/4 in overtime. A rough start, it took the Ice Pilots 1 and 1/2 periods to warm up. My ear is ringing big time, and is quite sore. Must be from all the loud noise at the game, not to mention ME yelling! I rather involved in my hockey, ask my kids  Ok, it is now tea time and it is like almost 11p.m. but with the start of a head ache because of the noise in my ear, and the aching of the ear, I thought tea might help. Good ole Tetley Tea, that my sister now has to keep me stocked up with cause it is ONLY in Canada eh! Night night, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite!...what a stupid saying, like I would get in a bed with bugs...heck, I can't stand sand in my bed....from the dogs...gesh! :!: :?
Back to work, back to trying to NOT miss my sister on a daily baisis. It was just so nice being able to "be" with her, and share. It was a good day for not just the first day back at work, but a Monday to boot. My ear is really killing me as I type, April 20th seems so far away. I have a head ache and a sore throat as well. We had fog here until almost noon. Dense fog, couldn't see past the nose on your face fog :? I am tired, not very hungry, and have to go to Wal Mart. (Brenda, when I walk by the hola hoops I will chuckle always) Hubby should be home soon, and I need to sweep the kitchen thanks to the puppy who brings in more dirt then I think we have outside  Until tomorrow....
I don't want to go back to work. I enjoy being at home, my time, my space, doing this and that....ok, house work and laundry and playing with my two dogs. Watched the Nascar race today...(love Micheal Waltrip) Being Canadian, I am a hockey fanatic. Detroit is my team....here is their [Link] I will add more links to my passions and enjoyments later. Don't want to scare you all off at once :!: Brenda....I love you ..sister of mine!
My Sister is almost home. She called a bit ago and she was only hours from her neck of the woods in Canada. Of course Peter (Frog) collected a speeding ticket yesterday when they were just out of Pensacola (here). I am glad they are home safe and sound, but NOT glad they are home :(
She's gone, my sister and family left early this morning. We hugged and cried, gained control of ourselves so she could get into the car and I say good bye to the boys and Frog. (I think even Frog cried) I stood watching until the car was out of sight holding back my tears. Two weeks has gone by so darn fast, it just isn't fair. Brenda, I love you, there are no words to express how much, Cody and Casey you are wonderful kids, I love you to pieces, not to mention enjoy you a great deal. Frog I love you, you crazy Frenchman. You are so great with my sister. I don't get to tell you often enough I suppose, but I hold you dear to my heart. Ok, now that I am leaking water from my eyes again, I need to get busy here or no telling how long I could sit and blubber.
Not really. This is the last day for my Sister and her family to be here  They will leave early tomorrow morning. Along treck for them back to Canada where the snow is still flying, and the temps are cold. She hates snow except for Christmas time. hahahahaha I have been blogging waiting for her to get her laundry all together so we can make our last trip to the beach together....until next year. I enjoying seeing what others have done on their blog, and I only leave a comment when I feel compelled to do so, not to get the tbucks. OK time for me to run.
Talk about going back in time :!: My Lucy Doll was given to me by Santa ohhhhh geez.....when I was maybe 10 or younger, can't remember. Brenda (my sister) cleaned her all up and brought her home to me. She looks so good. As I had boys, Lucy was never handed down to any one so she sat in the basement of Mom and Dad's house. Wow, so many memories. I just thought I would share this with you. Today we sat outside and enjoyed the sun from the back yard. The boys went for a boat ride in Aarons brand new boat :!: The frist trip, and boy was it a doozie! hahahah  Needless to say, just a learning curve for getting gas and a few other things...espically to make sure ones cell phone is securely attached to ones belt :!:
We had a great dinner this evening....steak, bbq taters, ceaser salad and garlic bread. Aaron and Jenny became proud owners of a new boat today....congrats Aaron, I know that this is a great day for you :!:  They just left, Hoot and Jenny fell asleep while feeding. Tomorrow Aaron gets to take the boat out for the first time. Like a kid in a candy shop.
I can't believe that this is the end of ONE week with my sister here :!: :( Today the weather was just beautiful. They guys all went to see if the USS Kennedy was still in port, which of course it was not. They then ventured to the boat show. Brenda and I took off to the Flea Market and then to the beach. It was quite enjoyable until this couple came and started making out. Like they couldn't keep their hands off one anther, and they we not young either. Kissing and holding hands is great, showing of affection is wonderful, but this was getting carried away on a family beach! It was time for us to leave and get to making dinner any ways. We had a nice dinner with a home made apple cobbler for dessert. Now it is time for jammies, and a bit of TV. My itchies did not bother me today at all, well a bit maybe, but my ear....it is not good.
Thursday all ready :!: I was told once that the older you get, the faster time slips by you. I have come to believe that statement to be ohhhh so true. I was the last one out of bed this morning, but hey.....it is my holiday too  Ok, I need to go and watch my "thats 70's show"......I am having a great time on holiday....will do much better when back to the old grind working hard. But for now....I enjoy!.....still a bit itchy, and my ear is most uncomfortable still.
Had a great day at the beach. The dolphins were playing out in the water today, jumping and splashing, it was neat to watch, and it was pretty kewl that my sister and the kids got to see that show. 8) We are now home and thinking of dinner.....pizza seems to be on our menue for tonight. Have to say I am feeling rather warm, and believe that I have a slight burn :) oh well, thats what happens when your on HOLIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, gotta go and see whats happening out in the living room......be well all, and smile!
What a beautiful day we had. Jenny came over with Hoot, Di came with DK, and we all enjoyed just hangin out as family for the day. Di made her great potatoe salad, Mark did his ever famous brisket, and Brenda and I did other eats. The kids went home, and Brenda and I took off for her "Wal Mart" fix. hahahahah....it is now almost 1 a.m. and here I am as promised trying to do ONE addition to my blog. I am not even sure anyone reads my stuff, or sees the work I put into this. I am hoping to be considered for the top 10 list here soon, as I believe that my blog is just as good then the ones I have seen in that list thus far. At any rate, bed is calling and I do hope those that visit my page, enjoys!
My sister arrived :D safe and sound :!: We enjoyed a nice dinner, sat around, watched a movie, the kids unwound, her hubby passed out from being tired and driving ALL the way from Canada to here in like ONE day. Tomorrow we hit the beach :!: :) Enjoy your family people, I will soak up this time I have with them like a sponge. God willing, my Dad will be here in April.
I loved watching this cartoon. While I am not a Mr. somehow the nick name just stuck with me. I only wear glasses when working on this darn puter, and reading small print, and well to write sometimes, I use the magnifying glass to put on make up! hahahahah Visit this site and enjoy! My sister should be at leat to Ohio by now
Ok, My sister is enroute :!: With the help of hubby the house is clean, well at least for one night until the dog brings in what is not nailed down outdoors  Weather permitting, and with NO troubles they should be here by noon tomorrow  I need to make dinner, or at best grab something to eat. I will try and keep posting every day, but it will be tough.
This ship is 23 stories tall! Can you imagine, it has been out in the Gulf of Mexico involved in training missions this past week, and is arriving aboard NAS Pensacola March 16th or 17th. WOW!!! We have had a lot of air traffic due to these maneuvers, the JFK has to deploy their air craft in order to get through the pass to reach NAS Pensacola. It will be a sight to see.
It is offical...I am on HOLIDAY! Two glorious weeks. My sister will be on the road no later then tomrrow afternoon. I bet her hubby will want to take the kids out of shcool at noon. HAHA!! We will have a good holiday after we get one cry session over with. It has been a very rough year as last year just after she left here and got back home, we lost our Mom. Any way, this is going to be a fun filled 2 weeks. Safe trip Brenda!
One more day!!!! and I am on Holiday! My sister leaves Canada Thursday when the kids get home from school :D I soooo need this holiday. This will be the second year for my sister to come down here, it is going to be just great. Thus the car banner...thats my sister driving here!!!! I did the craft thing with the snowbirds today. It was so much fun. Maybe I will take a picture of what I did, and put it on my page here for ya'll to see, and maybe take orders for me to do one for YOU!!!
I am feeling artistic today I suppose, thus the stream of flags!
For a Monday and being off through out the weekend it was all in all a very good day. I did what needed to be done, and had to leave at 1p.m. for a Dr's appointment, they were taking blood from me today. I've been experimenting with a salve given to me by one of my Snowbirds for this 'itchy' rash. It seems to be helping me, so I took the name of it into MY Dr. with hopes he will write me up a script for it. We will see tomorrow when I call to get the verdict. I have taken so many oatmeal baths, I might never eat oatmeal again. Tomorrow I am doing a craft with a few of the Snowbirds. I am really looking forward to this. :D Then I have to start getting ready for my SISTER....I love her dearly and can't wait for her to get here.
I was up till 1 a.m. playing with this Blog :!: HTML is something you just have to read, DO, and re read and re DO :? I sent off an email to Pinkiey (the ling to Pinkies Blog is over there on the LEFT) and I was and running...ok well off and typing, back spacing and retyping, cutting and pasting! I think I am getting the hang of it now. Thank you Pinkiey :!: :D It is a beautiful day here in sunny Pensacola. I am still itchy so don't want to walk out on the beach cause if I get all hot I start to itch even more. Ok, well I need to get off this puter and do some "real world" work.
ahhhh my first encounter with the love of music! I can remember that Christmas when Santa left for me my first record player. The age of the 45's...remember those! hahahah....and then my record player blew up...yep Christmas Eve that sucker was bellowing blue smoke instead of Paul's great voice. The next day we took the sad me along with my sick record player to ...I want to say Sayvette, boy does that age me, not that talking about the Beatles doesn't(remember I am from Canada) where they gave me a new one. mmmmm wonder how Santa arranges stuff like that. HA :!:
Man, what a day! I love my job thank goodness for that. My hubby was clipping the dog when I got home, and all I will say is.....argh!!!! Had to go and get me a new phone as the Cingular people are going to the GPS venue and my current phone is not compatable. Why when this is clearly THEIR doing, do they make one sign yet another 2 year contract to get a phone that will work with their system. Anyways, I have a great plan with them, one they NO longer offer, so I signed on the dotted line for another 2 years. :!: :( My holidays start middle of next week, yippie! Tomorrow night we go out for dinner, that will be nice. My itchies are still itchy, a bit better, but by mid day I am almost ready to crawl out of my skin. My ear inflamation is still a bother, I do try to ignore it for the most part, but it is rather hard to do when it constantly seems I am under water. This will pass soon, one can only hope. My hubby has been so supportive, I am lucky to have found him, and oh yeah....we are an internet couple!
Over the past year I have lost 30+ pounds. I have been able to watch my carb in take, and keep the weight off. Lately I have been dying for chocolate, can't seem to get enough of it. It has to have something to do with this hormonal persona that I never knew I had...ya thats it....blame the 'witch'. The meds I have been taking for this 'itchy' issue have me blooted up like a Puff Fish!! All in all, today I feel not to bad. The itchies don't start till about 3 again, the pills say 8 hours, but NOT!!! If I go the full length of 12 weeks, I have 3 weeks left. Knowing me, it will continue longer, heck I got spots where they did not think one could have spots. Now for this inner ear issue, well that is the tough part. Can't hear very well to begin with, and then I need to keep the cotton IN the ear as it has been pretty windy and that bothers me as well. My sister and her family arrive here from Canada on or about the 11th. HOLIDAY time....man do I need a holiday. Ok, now I need to go read my Harry Potter book.[LINE]
March 3, 2004 This is my first "blog" experience so bear with me. My life is some what interesting currently, I am suffering with a case of Pityriasis Rosea , an uncommon virul infection which is most uncomfortable. At the same time I have a severe inner ear infection. So it pretty much sucks to be me right now. Oh and to make matters even worse, I am having those dreaded 'hot flashes' quite often, so this split personality I never knew I had.....wow....erupted from nowhere!
Check out the new Baby Elephant born April 22, 2004
I love Elephants. My fasination with this animal has gained me some 500 plus collectables of many different kinds. I have glass, wood, porclin, silver, bronze, copper, jade, crystal, clay, stuffed elephants, not to mention my jewellery and dresses and oh yes purses.
