My pride and my joy are my children. Sean and Ryan still live in Canada. I love them dearly, and miss them every day.
My Sister Brenda, isn't she cute!
Feeling stresed,
There are some awesom bubbles that just sorta relax you. It's cool!
you are paleturquoise #AFEEEE
Your dominant hues are green and blue. You're smart and you know it, and want to use your power to help people and relate to others. Even though you tend to battle with yourself, you solve other people's conflicts well.
Your saturation level is low - You stay out of stressful situations and advise others to do the same. You may not be the go-to person when something really needs done, but you know never to blow things out of proportion.
Your outlook on life is bright. You see good things in situations where others may not be able to, and it frustrates you to see them get down on everything.
Evening to one and all. Where do I start this evening. I am late as we were watching a movie, don't ask me what it was, I was playing with Hoot most of the time. Something about two ships fighting each other and chasing each other. My certified letter arrived today, Thank you Mom for getting it here safe and sound before the weekend. Mark worked hard today doing laundry, and he cleaned the living room rug. :!: Thank you sweetie :!: We went to "achachacha" for and early dinner....That would be Happy China for anyone other then MY Canadian family. Then we slipped into Lowes to dream a bit in the kitchen cupboard dept. I think we pretty much know what kind of cupboards we like. I picked up a couple of books to go through and see what options we are interested in. We also looked at Pergo flooring, versus Armstrong, and this new tile flooring that we might do in the bathroom. We stopped into the Navy Exchange and picked me up a new monitor, 17" Microtek flat screen $399 :!:  8) Mark has monitor envy now...hahahahaha..... I am tired and my tummy is not stopped growling since we got home, I think the hot and sour soup was to spicy hot for me. I am tired, so I need to say....Good day, Good night and in case I don't see you....Good Morning.
It's almost Friday, one more sleep....man I can't wait for my two days off. This weekend is the Crawfish Creole Fiesta. I will venture downtown and do a walk round. I can't stand crawfish, they are the most ugly things I have ever seen, fishing with them is one thing, but to eat them YUCK!! and how bout NO :!: :!:  Usually there are some neat crafters set up, so I can get into trouble easily there. If it doesn't rain tomorrow, I can leave work early so hubby and I can do the Fiesta. He enjoys doing that sorta thing with me. :( Still no certified mail drop from Canada. That sure would make my weekend  But there is always next weekend. Man it was windy today at work. Being out on that island sure makes a difference in wind gusts. I would say it was close to 40 miles per today at best of times. There is a tornado watch in affect until 9 tonight, but I think that was just extended as I see my weather bug chirping at me. Schatze is doing so great with the diaper. It worked out good with Mark being home, and then me for the weekend. If I take off I will lock them outdoors, better safe then sorry in this case. My ear appointment went ok. I am waiting for the Navy hospital to call and make an appointment for an MRI. I am a little concerned, but 'it is what it is' as my brother would say. Ok, my Detroit team is ready for face off, so I will bid you all a Good day, Good night and in case I don't see you....Good Morning!
Poor Schatze....she looks at me with those big brown eyes, and I know the way she flops down on my chair she is feeling like 'crap' :!: I can't believe she has been so good about keeping her diaper ON, but of course Mark is off today until Saturday. I put a pretty bandana around her neck this morning, and she just loved it. Can't find the bandana now, but she wore it all day. I think Snuggles ( my boston terrier) hijacked it. hahahahah The A/C is fixed ...phew... 8) Mark burned the dead thatch off the front yard today, he smelled like he was standing in the middle of a fire when I got home, which of course he was, now we need rain....so do the rain dance Raindancer! Toronto is winning, which means I have stayed away long enough for them to score a couple of times. Now it is safe for me to go back and watch the game. Good Day, good night, and in case I don't see you, Good Morning
Yep, I am sweeping the floor, and there is a spot here and there, and I say to myself..what the heck is this...Snuggles is sniffing and Schatze is just sitting looking, she moves and there is a wet spot of blood. ARGH :!:   Mark looks at me, starts counting on his fingers and says..."oh yeah, Doc said to have her back in six months...hahahah guess I better call him tomorrow eh". Just another bit of news in our so called DULL lives! ROFLM@O!!!!! at least I can still laugh. Aunt Joyce, you still getting a dog :?: :!:
ARGH!!!! The floor has yet again been under attack by Schatze. I left it for Mark. The only thing we can do is tear the entire stuff up now, it is just disgusting to look at. Mark just got home, he aint happy. Tomorrow we get our A/C worked on, yippppie :!: Thursday Schatze will be taken to the pet store and fitted for a muzzle. Hate to see it, but she needs to learn before we get this kitchen redone. ENT appointment tomorrow, thank goodness as today my ear bothered me a great deal. I am tired, not hungry, thirsty, and ready for bed. LOL....Hockey game this evening, hope I can stay awake for that...Detroit just has to do better, they just got to. Good day, good night, and in case I don't see you....Good morning!
Monday, I have typed that and sit and think.....no matter what 'name' we give the day after Sunday....it's going to be such a DAY :!: Actually for me, today, was GREAT  :!: Is this the calm before the storm...LOL...heck, even this hellian of a dog was half good. Yes, half good, while she did not tear up any more of the floor, she did bring in some kind of weed coverd with soil thing, and that was pretty much all over the floor by the stove, sink, fridge area. I never bothered to wash the floor tonight...why bother, she will have run of the kitchen tomorrow too as it could rain. Mark and I went out for a steak dinner this evening. I did not feel like cooking and Mark just followed along. The weather man did not storm down on us last night as expected, nor today so far either. The A/C guy called and he will be here Wednesday to install the part that will fix the equipment that cools the house :? :!: Wednesday is also the day I go for my second ENT appointment. The ear, while it is better, I still have some discomfort, a throbbing mostly, that gets a bit over whelming at times, but nothing I can't deal with. As it goes, I have a high tollerance for pain so what the heck do I know. :? Hockey game is on, I need to get out of my......hahahah cloths and get comfy. Good day, Good night, and in case I don't see you....Good Morning! PLEASE VOTE FOR ME IN FEATURED BLOGS
Let this be your day of rest...........who was he kidding :!: Mark is up around 6ish, and so are the dogs. Snuggles is quiet, but Schatze....she is ALL over :!: Mark finds out he forgot to remove the door from the doggie door, so the dogs had been not able to get out to do their morning (or through the night)business. Some one did "pooh pooh" on the floor. Then Schatze is running OUT and IN and OUT and IN, barking at God knows what....I am up. ahhhhhhhhhhh Sunday, the day of rest! Funny, very funny. I work this evening 3 to 8. It is going to be a long summer. At least the A/C guy got the unit running and it is cool in here. Friday night it sure was NOT. Not sure what I am going to do today. Might just pop over to the beach and watch the surf. It has been so rough, with undertows since Friday. There have been some drownings a people do not head the RED flags. Stupid :!: :!: No matter what the weather conditions, that Ocean is always so very beautiful to look at and admire. For me at any rate. Mother nature is so powerful. The waves seem to consume me sometimes, and are able to wash away my sorrow and torment. Good day, Good morining, and in case I don't see you....Good night.
Morning eveyone, who am I kidding. Now back to regular routine, no time to sit and play on the computer for hours on end, my position in "hot blog" is slowly declining. Sad  very sad  I do have a life and it must come first, otherwise there will be nothing for me to write about. I worked pretty much all day Saturday, reason for missing my transcript. I ran home before lunch time yesterday, and once again Schatze tore up more of the kitchen floor. I was in a rush, and unable to clean up her mess so just locked her outdoors. It was cooler out there for the dogs as the A/C was not working.....made a call to A/C repair guy, he came when I was at work, and the evaporator unit needs replacing to the tune of $800 give or take. Wonderful...just @#$% wonderful. I got home last night close to 8:30, Mark had a bad headache (sorry Markus) so things were quiet. The floor still had signs of Schatze's renovating rantings, plus the odd piece of twig and dirt scattered here and there. She just don't get it. Mark mentioned a muzzle...Thank god this dog is cute!!!!
Hubby just called, well actually son Aaron called they are IN ALABAMA! :!: They have been in Alabama since 2 a.m., they stopped to sleep. I guess all going well they should arrive here just after noon. Mark will not sleep at that time, he will change the oil in the truck. Sleeping mid day will screw him up for work tomorrow, and then he won't sleep tonight and keep me awake....NO NO NO!!! hahahah The piano will not get taken off the truck until later this evening  However I do understand. Aaron has to gather up some muscle and they are all at work till dinner time. Then we will have the unveiling of Moms piano. My Sister has a picture of Mom standing beside her self which I will have in a nice frame for the top of the piano, and a violet, purple for Mom. I will find a lamp to put on it to make it easier to read music. The picture of Mom beside herself is so way kewl. Brenda had it done for Moms funeral last year. Brenda took Mom and Dad's wedding photo, had Dad removed, and inserted a picture of Mom as she was now. It is so kewl. I will have it scanned, (or better yet...youuuuu whooooo Brenhilda!) and put a pic up on my blog for you to see. Ok, gotta move on here before I get all blubbery. 8) shopping, I will go shopping, get my pay check and shop...ya..thats a good  So, Good Day, Good afternoon, and in case I don't see ya...Good night!
My hubby Mark and son Aaron left Canada early this a.m. with piano and other added Mom momentos. They stopped in Kitchener/Waterloo to visit my two boys Sean and Ryan. I think Mark took a tour of the country side for a while, he won't be smilin about that, but sometimes shit happens. I suppose they will make an appearance some time early afternoon. I have a clean house, Elephants are boxed up and display case is taken down and stored until after we put down a new floor....thank you Schatze! (no offers yet) I think my A/C is acting up on the car. It did not ever really cool down for me today. That won't work around here. I had a good day, was busy, even planted some flowers for hubbys home coming. :) Yeah ME! Ok, I am doing my hair, so I want to veg and take in some much needed relaxing time. My fingers are very sore tonight,,,must be from all my furious typing here this past week..hahahahaha..."Featured Blog" should be up and running tomorrow I am told, so please...please...vote for ME! Good Day, Good Night, and in case I don't see you...Good Morning :!:
Ok, I sure don't feel guilty any more about locking up that frigin dog  I thought because it was going to be warm today, I would let the dogs have the kitchen to "chill" in. I had to come home in the early part of the morning and found a HUGEmess infront of the fidge in the kitchen. Schatze tore up the vinyl flooring, I can't find the rug either. I don't mean she just tore a piece up, I mean she has cleard a 3x3 section of flooring up. What a MESS  :x  And when I picked her up to scold her, she pissed all over my shoes. Now that you all have stopped laughing.......the fact that we are going to be replacing the floor is beside the fact. I locked her in the crate, and Snuggles had free roam of the house for the afternoon. I am not going to lock her outdoors because of Schatze. Wait till your father gets home Schatze!!!! just you wait...MOM...come get your dog! Aunt Joyce....you want a puppy....I know where you can get one real cheap  Now I go and start clean up...my ear aches, I have a head ache, my other ear ain't feeling all that great either now, I don't need this crap every day. Good day, good afternoon, good evening, and in case I don't see you....Good Morning.
Had my Dr.s appt. this morning. Long story made short (button it Sis), the Dr. after causing me to scream with pain,(and I mean scream) changed tools he was using, and approached my ear with a very long, very thing needle tpye tool, about 5 minutes later, and more severe pain, he pulls out a piece of skin, (from the inner side of my ear drum) that was growing attached to the inner ear wall. He says it has been growing there for some time, and now had reached a size to where it was causing complications. NO SHIT!! Well, I have s severe inflamation in the inner ear, which has spread down into the jaw and face/neck area. My sinus cavities are also infected becasue this ear thing has been draining inwards. Wonderful. The piece of skin was the size of the nail on your baby finger, ok, well MY baby finger. Ear drops etc, and allergy meds to aid with the sinus flare up as well, I go back in 5 days. It just can't get any worse. The Dr. said it was obvious to him that my tolerance for pain was very high....as looking into my ear, and pulling out what he pulled out, HE would be in tears. Well, I hide my feelings pretty well most of the time. I locked the dogs outdoors today. They must have played hard, cause they have been sleeping since I got home. Very, very quite, and for Schatze THAT is not normal. hahahahahaha.....I am not sure what I will do tomorrow, as it may be too warm for them. Hubby made it to my Sister Blous house by 9:30 a.m. today. WOW, impressive, but now he is pooped...thats tired big time. I am thrilled to be moving UP in the top 100 group. I am at 91 right now...YEAH ME!!! Ok, off to take something that will help me rid this achy/pain and sleep well tonight. I hope to watch the hockey gaem......."lets go Leafs" ...hahahaha...Good day, Good night and in case I don't see you....Good Morning!
Well, this certainly clears things up for me. How about you? If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port, and the bus is interrupted at a very last resort, and the access of the memory makes your floppy disk abort, then the socket packet pocket has an error to report.
If your cursor finds a menu item followed by a dash, and the double-clicking icon puts your window in the trash, and your data is corrupted cause the index doesn't hash, then your situation's hopeless and your system's gonna crash :!:
If the label on the cable on the table at your house, says the network is connected to the button on your mouse, but your packets want to tunnel to another protocol, that's repeatedly rejected by the printer down the hall.
And your screen is all distorted by the side effects of gauss, so your icons in the window are as wavy as a souse; then you may as well reboot and go out with a bang, cuz sure as I'm a poet, the sucker's gonna hang.
When the copy on your floppy's getting sloppy in the disk, and the macro code instructions is causing uncessary risk, then you'll have to flash the memory and you'll want to RAM your ROM, and then quickly turn off the computer and be sure to tell your Mom!
Not sure where this came from, but a friend passed it on to me at work, he said he knew I would enjoy this! So enjoy ya'll!!
Mark and Aaron left early this a.m. for Canada. They are picking Mom's piano. It will always be Mom's piano. My mother never let the Grandkids touch that piano, it was her pride and joy, it is not a Baby Grand, which is what she dreamed of having...but it is a very nice upright piano all the same. Man could she play! So, as it goes kiddos, the piano is outabounds at Grandmas house.
Bad Dog!! Bad Dog!! Can we guess which dog I speak of :?: I let the dogs have run of the kitchen (againts my better judgement)for the day. I got home at 3:45 and it has taken me till NOW, 4:35 to sweep, vacuum, and wash the floor. I will have to wash it again as the water was BLACK. Needless to say, the dogs will NOT have run of the house tomorrow. I just can't come home to this sort of mess every day for the rest of Schatzes or MY life. hahahahahah...We will have to do something to make the garage a cool place for them, and they have under the trailer to stay away from the direct sun light. For now, that will have to do. Tomorrow I go to the ENT Dr. at 8 a.m. Thank goodness :!: Not sure what to eat for dinner, I have not eatn all day. It was pretty busy for me, Mondays always are. Not sure where the time went. I even checked some rooms after the housekeeping staff today....way to go Margo! (pat on the back as I seem to need some reassurance lately)
Here today gone tomorrow....I was in the TOP 100!!! yesterday, but not today....come on people...vote for me!!!
Ok, now I need to go and change the water out, change my cloths, and find something to eat...not necessarily in that order either. Sis, if you come online tonight...can we icq ?????
Good day, Good night, and in case I don't see you ...Good Morning! Sorry Mark, I tried to not bad mouth the puppy, I love her, just can't put up with this mess right now.
Mark leaves tomorrow morning for my home...Canada. Even if I was going with him, for me it would not be an enjoyable trip. The infection in my ear is now starting to bother the side of my face, down into my jaw. Extremely uncomfortable. The Dr. told me I had a great tollerance for pain, well by comparison, I should be like in tears about now. Tuesday I go to the ENT man I can't wait. It is a breezy day here in the mid 60's. I will do the rest of the laundry and clean, although I don't much feel like it. Bending over don't help the ear at all. hahahahah...ok enough complaining will ya! Good morning, Good afternoon, and in case I don't see you Good night :!:
The newest addition to our humble abode, Schatze. Contrary to what Mark says, I do not lock the dogs out of the house all the time. Heck, she now brings crap IN the house when we are home :!: :!: She has been good, but since Wednesday there has been someone home with them. I did not want to take the chance of her breaking her 'good' streak, so yes this evening they were locked out. Mark told me I should let people know she has been good. Watch for that posting. I am sure it will come some day. Don't get me wrong, Schatze is a good companion for Snuggles, it is just that Schatze is extreme in every thing she does :!: She certainly makes it hard to be board! With any luck, the new hardwood floor will be easier to clean. She is a lot of work, she is a mess, she is a great joy :!: There are a few family members that would gladly take her off our hands, but Schatze is staying with us.
One day gone from my two day break. As my ear gave me a great deal of discomfort, I did not accomplish much today. I did manage to clean the two bathrooms, and did a load or two of wash. :? We had family photos taken tonight. Once more I managed to catch heck, for what ever reason, I do not like having my picture taken, however I survived the flashes of light, and I believe it will be a good set of pictures. Hoot was ever so good, even the photographer could not believe he was only 5 months old. Time will tell. Came home and had spare ribs with cabbage salad and garlic bread....what a woman eh! I put my jammies on, we watched Montreal win their hockey game while enjoying ice cream :!: and we know what kind of ice cream.....hahahahah...ta ta all until the morrow, Good day, Good night, and in case I don't see you ...Good Morning :!:
Another week done. Actually they seem to go by so darn fast anymore. My Dad tells me, the oder you get the faster time slips by. It is true I am sad to say. :? Mark made dinner, we both did the dishes....we need a dishwasher real bad. I can't stand coming home to dirty dishes in the sink, and I've been trying to bite my tongue in the complaining dept. Jenny, Aaron and Hoot came over for a visit, we enjoy having the family here, not to mention the bonding time we get as Grandparents with Hoot. He is growing so fast, quite a hefty boy, Mommy and Daddy are doing a great job. My ear is bad tonight, I had to put drops in it, and that makes it difficult to hear anything going on. Now it is almost time for bed. Schatze took off down the street this evening. The garage door was open, I was pulling weeds and off she went. She can run like "90" when you are playing with her, but when I called her to come home, she ran in slow motion...Mother your dog!!!!! Mark's Mom got a new van, just in time for her to come and claim HER DOG!!! hahahahahahah  Good night, Good morning, and in case I don't see you....Good day!
I had such a hard time keeping my mind on my work today. Not sure why, other then my ear is really bothering me, I had yet another sinus thing, and my poor feet and legs ache. I am a mess NO?! This fibramyalgis has flared up and that is what is really my achy body issue. Oh well, get over it Magoo. I am eating chocolate covered raisins...my favourite. When I way younger I would eat an entire box and smile all the while. Another favourite is that Lowneys Cherry cluster? I think that is what it is called, comes in a yellow/blue square box??? Who knows what I am talking about.....Sis, you do don't you! They were supposed to turn the water off every night from 9 till 6 a.m., but they have not done so. We still fill the tubs up just in case, thats for flushing!! Ok, good night, good day, and in case I don't see you Good morning!
Busy day at work. Mark was off so the dog was good today, actually he had errands to do so she only had garage and back yard access. However she did manage to hide one of the doggie beds. It took Mark 20 minutes to find it. We went shopping at Sams club to pick up a tarp to cover the piano with, did some other shopping then off to Jenny and Aarons for a visit. Now home I am tired, and my ear has been really bothering me today. Time for more meds I am afraid. I have 3 votes thus far....thank you to those that voted for me. Time now for me to check on my Sisters blog and then hit the sack. Good day, Good night, and in case I don't see you...Good Morning.
Ok, I am home and in my jammies at 2 oclock in the afternoon. I was called into work this morning at 2:30 and did not get back home until just after 4 a.m. Needless to say I did not go back to sleep. What did I find upon entering the house today you ask.....well, Schatze had dragged in the old doggie blanket we put in the garage, it was full of weeds, grass, and what ever else! Can you picture this little dog, pulling this blanket throught the little doggie door :!: Of course this is only after she had dragged it all over the back yard :x and then dragging it all over the kitchen. Better then finding a poor turtle I will admit. It has been verywindy here all day, and cool. :!: :!: I have spent my tbuck submitting a request to be considered for the Top 10 List I ask that you please go vote for me. Of course only IFyou think I'm goodnuff 8) Ok now, I need to say....Good afternoon, Good night, and in case I don't see you...Good Morning.
Ok, couldn't get onto blog when I wanted to...that sort of pisses me off, but am here now. Mark was helping me fight off puter bugs, pestsss and weird crap that was attacking my speed and computing. I had this weird 'sex' browser bar that kept popping up at the bottom of my browser window, well we got rid of that, but it was not easy! Mark is so smart...see I need him for something.... :D Sinus head ache most of the day, ear was not being nice today either, I believe Mark was better today then last night. It was overcast most of the day, rain maybe tonight, but sun tomorrow...so the music stays for my beloved Sister who put her back out working in her still frozen garden....LOL...she thinks she is like still 30!!!Schatze found a poor turtle in the back yard, brought it IN the house, and tormented it. Mark got home and put the turtle outdoors, by the time I got home that turtle had run for the hills!! Poor thing, damn dog!!!! MOM watch for a crate, or box or how ever the heck you spell that thing with holes and a dog IN it. Aunt Joyce....don't let MOM help you pick out a dog! hahahaha Good day, Good night, and in case I don't see you...Good Morning! hahaha
Good Morning, ok, it's almost afternoon. I slep in cause I had a head ache and it is after all MY day off. We got up to thunder boomers, lightening and rain. We need the rain as we have had a couple of brush fires that thankfully did not get to do any 'home' damage, but came close last weekend. I am doing laundry, Mark said most of the 'wilderness' campers have flown the coup, the lifeguards are under cover of the pavillion, too much light activity for them to be ON the beach in a metal tower.....ya think :!: Think I will still venture out to the beach to watch the waves. I never tire of beautiful the Ocean is, even on days like this. Enjoy the music, let it take you back to Gene Autry and the dance he did along the street in paten leather shoes...ya like that would happen....hahahaha. They don't make movies like that any more...too bad, we are missing out on a great deal.
Pensacola Ice Pilots won their game in overtime, 2/1. I have to admit they were not playing as well as one would think for having come this far. None the less, they won. Pensacola plays home again on Tuesday evening....GO PILOTS :!:
Pensacola Ice Pilots home game against LA Ice Gaters. The entire family is going including Hoot! whom I sat with all afternoon. I enjoy my 'alone' time with him a great deal, more then any one can guess.  Ok, I need to finish up a few things and off to the game we go. I may blog when I get home...LOL....Sis, hope you are not to frozen trying to gain some quarters at your garage sale today. At least it did not snow or rain :!:  Love ya's
I left work just after 12 noon today. We were having a 'family' day. The menue=brisket, elk roast (of which I did not enjoy), potatoe salad(made by Aaron, what a sweetie), corn on the cob(done by father and son), beans done by ME  Aaron purchased a set of Botchy Balls, so we played a couple of games in our "Schatze" obstical course back yard! That is holes for you non doggie owners :!: It was a lot of fun I must say. Bernard (a long time friend of Marks family) came over and he enjoyed being around the young kids I think. We ate well, and there is NO brisket left for us tomorrow....some elk is left for Mark...lucky him eh. Jenny and I had a little competition on to see who could learn how to put a background picture on our blog first, and she won. Way to go Jenny, thank you!  I really enjoy my blog, and you will notice my music has changed again today. Ya, ok, I am a bit Beatles crazed, but ya know what......thats me :!: My ear is really bothering me today. Started again yesterday, a lot of deep pain, pretty sharp. At work, the vacuum cleaner used by the common areas housekeeper is very very loud. It was making me shudder the past couple of days. The housekeeper had used the vacuum 4 times all ready, and was starting to get it out yet once more, when I asked her to please NOT do it while I was there. My ear just couldn't take another vacuuming. The pain was just to much at that time. Today I was having a hard time focussing on things, but I was needed at work for a time. Today I had to slip away and put drops in my ear, and sit inside for a bit. I just couldn't take it any more. I think we all had a very enjoyable time. The day is still young enough that the kids can go and do their own thing in the remaining light of day. Again, Thankx Jenny for the trick :!: I wonder how my Sister made out today.
Man, was it busy again at work. It's a good thing, keeps me employeed. We went out to Popyees Chicken for dinner, could't bear cooking and hubby was out all day helping our son with computer issues. We stopped into Big Lots and picked up a neat umbrella for the table. It has the crank on it and is huge for only $29 :!: Now home, and able to play on this blog of mine, I find myself listening to my Beatles music. Not sure why all of a sudden I have re kindered my love for them. They are so easy to sing to...can you hear me singing along :D  Did I mention my hubby is going to go to Canada to pick up my piano left to me by my Mom. My Sister and Brother have put it in a 'safe' place....noooo not my Sisters 'safe place', that would be Wal Mart! hahahaha it is in my Brother Pat's garage I do belive, along with a bunch of stuff in wait for a garage sale. Any way, Mark and our son Aaron are going to drive up there, grab the piano and trek back all in ONE week :( I am unable to take the time off work as I have two people gone all ready. There won't be any time to visit my two boys in Kitchener, bar maybe a quick "P" stop and coffee break....do we need more Tim Hortons coffee me wonders :?: They will leave here Monday the 19th of April....please NO rain OR SNOW :!:  Ok now is the time for jammies, a tea, and then bed. I had a hard time rolling out of the sack this a.m., Mark had to nudge me. Nite all!
Ok, yesterday I came home from a very busy day at work, stood in my kitchen and cried. Yep, litterally cried, then called my hubby to bitch! HIS dog (actually mostly his Mothers dog) dragged in TONS and TONS of dirt, along with some sort of moss (we don't have Oak trees). I filled a huge garbage bag with this stuff. It took me 45 minutes to sweep up the kitchen so I could vacuum it. AND the gate securing the living room was pushed down, so there was crap in there...and my rug is off WHITE! The leather furniture was covered with sand as well. I washed the kitchen floor 3 times, and Mark (bless his heart) washed it once more when he got home, and then the water was mostly clear! I had to wash the two afgans, they were covered with sand. My little boston terrier Snuggles never, never did crap like this. Now, because of this little addition to our loving family, Snuggles will have to be locked outdoors along whith Schatze. I just can not come home to this every night, I just can't. Mark will have to clean up the garage in order to make it safe for the dogs to veg out in on warmer days. Schatze is for the most part, a wonderful dog, she just has soooooooooooo much energy. I know, terrible twos, but ya know what....my two young boys sure were not this bad!!! Ok, I've gone on enough.
Out of the simpelest toys, come strange shouts of joy!
Last year on my Sisters visit, we ventured into her "safe place" Wal Mart at ohhhh 9:30p.m. It was about 10:30 p.m. when we found ourselves in the toy dept. We both looked at the hoola hoops and before we knew it, had them around us laughing so hard, we bout....well (if your a woman) you know!!! Then we hear this strange laughter, we stop, try and compose our selves, and this unsuspecting male walks by at the end of the isle. hahahahahahahahah.....I'm not gonna tell who kept the hoola hoop UP, and who couldn't...that would just not be fair to her.
My sweet hubby Mark found a free FTP server and downloaded or uploaded (which ever, what ever) some of my most favourite sounds. I have a list for him to load so I can switch my music out depending on my feelings, emotions, time of year...etc...etc...etc...(it goes from being sweet, to me being....do this...and this...and this....LOL) I love him, he is so very good to me. I try not to abuse that. I love you Markus, and thank you from the bottom of my heart
I didn't want to go to work today. My head was filled with so many other things. My heart was with my Sister and what she was dealing with, and hoping her and Dad got through their trip to the lawyers in one piece. :( :( :( :  When I got home from work, hubby was here shortly after so we went to Happy China and then to visit our kids n Grandbaby Hoot. Getting home close to 9 p.m. Mark called my Sister to touch baisis with her cause he knew where my heart was. HI SIS!!!! The dogs were good today....Schatze must not be well...hahahah actually the cooler temps have them outside most of the day, as right now they are sleeping which means they are pooped...thank goodness cause I did not want to deal with a kitchen full of sand today. I am rambling now, meds have kicked in so time for me to hit the sack. Good night Sis, and family, good night john boy, good nite Mom.
Ok, Sunday is almost gone. Why do our 'days off' go by so darn fast....just not fair. I think I am going to see about a 3 day off period. Did I say that right??? You know what I mean though don't you :? I took sausage biscuit and hash browns out to hubby this a.m. No milk in the fridge so he couldn't have cereal  I sat and watched the dolphins play in the water, it was a couple of mommies with babies...so cute and they put on a good show :!: The 'noseeums' were biting the heck outa me, so I left, stopped in at the grocery store (NO Sis, not Walmart) and picked up milk and a few other needed items. I changed the music back to my favourite (and it was Moms favourite too) Beatles song. I find it a relaxing, reflective song, and I think that being such, it helps to keep visitors enjoying MY blog. Never did I dream that I would get others attention. Now, I am going to work towards being one of the top 10. Frankly, when I go and visit the top 10 now, I don't understand how some got there. I am still learning blog stuff, but I am enjoying it a great deal. Please come back often, and leave me your thoughts and inspirations. As I work full time, I will be on here at least in the evening, checking out my visitors (if any) and doing the best I can to answer any comments, along with adding a blog and with any luck some other interesting tid bit on the side  Have a great day, as you can see, it is a perfect day in Pensacola Florida.
One year ago today I lost my Mother. Mark and I were enroute trying to get home to her, but she couldn't wait. She left in the middle of the night with my two brothers and my sisters hubby by her side. Freezing rain and snow made our treck home white knuckle driving from Michigan to my sisters back door. So many thoughts and images running through my head today espically. To my sister Blou, (and with the help of brother Pat) thank you for taking care of business. Mom, keep sharing your time between us. Brenda and I get a kick out of some of the things you do. We miss and love you Mom.
This morning went by so darn slow at work. For what ever reason I found my self for the first time watching the clock. Having dealt with the important issues, enjoying pizza with most of the staff, I trudged off home. Mark and I took off shopping and just got home. Laving one store, there in front of ME, shinning heads up, a clean penny. My Moms way of saying "hi" and letting me know she is around me. I miss you Mom, be with Brenda tomorrow Mom, she will need you. Love you Sis. I need to go and sit with my hubby some this evening. I have been blogging most nights till bed time. As I can't keep focused tonight, maybe he and I can watch a movie or just sit and chat. Tomorrow I am off....yippyy! :P
Evenin ya'll.......tell you what, it was darn chilly here this mornin. This is Florida right. You know, when I was back in Canada, I thought Florida...warm ALL the time....right.....NOT!!!!!! well NOT here. The panhandle gets pretty darn chilly in the winter months. Wat..... :? this is spring :!: hahahah Ok, I should call my sister to see how things are going with her lawyer meetings. Then I need to go and spend some time with hubby, and doggies. Love you sis, if you see this before I get to call you. Night all!
